Publication Policies
IJLES maintains transparent policies for authors, reviewers, editors, and readers while avoiding unconfirmed claims about services, indexes, or memberships.
Research and Publication Ethics
IJLES expects all authors, reviewers, and editors to uphold standards of originality, accuracy, authorship integrity, data transparency, confidentiality, and responsible research conduct.
Authorship
- Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research design, execution, analysis, or interpretation.
- All listed authors must approve the submission and participate in drafting or revising the manuscript.
- Supervisory, administrative, or technical support alone does not justify authorship.
- Changes in authorship during review require a clear explanation and editorial approval.
Originality, Plagiarism, and Reporting
- Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere.
- All sources must be properly cited using APA 7.
- Data, methods, findings, and limitations must be reported accurately and transparently.
- Confirmed plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, or misleading citation may result in rejection or retraction.
Human Participants and Confidentiality
- Ethics approval and informed consent must be reported where applicable.
- Special care is required when research involves children, vulnerable groups, or sensitive data.
- Personally identifiable information must be anonymized or used only with appropriate permission.
Editorial and Peer Review Policy
Every submission undergoes initial editorial screening for scope, completeness, presentation quality, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are evaluated through blind external peer review by three independent reviewers.
Reviewers provide independent scholarly evaluations and recommendations. The final decision regarding a manuscript remains an editorial responsibility.
- Manuscripts outside the journal's scope may be declined without external review.
- Reviewers are selected based on relevant expertise and absence of known conflicts of interest.
- Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality and provide objective, reasoned feedback.
- Editorial decisions may include accept, minor revision, major revision, revise and resubmit, or reject.
Publication Fees
IJLES currently does not charge authors any submission fee, article processing charge, or publication fee.
Authors are not required to make any payment during submission, editorial assessment, peer review, acceptance, or publication under the journal's current fee policy.
Any future change to the journal's fee policy will be announced transparently on the journal website. A new fee will not be applied retrospectively to manuscripts submitted under an earlier no-fee policy.
Open Access Policy
IJLES is an open-access journal. Published content will be freely accessible to readers without subscription charges.
The journal's detailed copyright and licensing terms will be displayed when finalized. Until a license is confirmed, IJLES does not present a specific Creative Commons license claim.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
- AI tools may be used to improve language clarity or technical preparation.
- AI tools must not be used to generate undisclosed core manuscript content, fabricate data, or create misleading citations.
- Use of AI must be disclosed where applicable.
- AI tools cannot be credited as authors or cited as accountable sources.
- Authors remain fully responsible for the content, data, citations, and interpretation of the manuscript.
Complaints and Appeals
Appeals and complaints may be submitted to ijlescontact@gmail.com. Appeals should present clear academic or procedural grounds and should explain why the author believes the original decision or process requires reconsideration.
An appeal does not automatically change an editorial decision. Complaints about editorial procedure, conflicts of interest, or ethical concerns will be reviewed according to the nature of the concern.
Privacy Statement
Because IJLES currently receives submissions through the online form and email backup, the journal may collect names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, manuscript files, reviewer reports, editorial correspondence, and ethical declarations.
This information is used for editorial and publication processes. IJLES does not request unnecessary personal data and does not share editorial correspondence or reviewer material without authorization, except where legal requirements or serious ethical investigations require appropriate disclosure.
